Dealing with insecurities and destructive thoughts.
Everyone has dealt with insecurities. Being in high school, it can feel like the monster that is insecurities just wants to completely destroy us. We look in the mirror and think, "Ugh, my forehead is HUGE," or "I look disgusting right now!" A lot of us get stuck in this cycle of self destructive thoughts and it can affect our mental health greatly.

“So God created man in His own image; He created Him in the image of God; He created them male and female.”
We were all created in the image of God with great value. Of all Creation, God chose us to carry out the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19). When He created everything else, it was described to be "good" but when man was created, he was described to be "very good". So if God has given us so much value, who are we to say that His creation is flawed or ugly? We were created by the same God that made the moon, the stars, and all the nature we marvel at, and we are just as beautiful.

When those insecurities come creeping into your head, remember you are fearfully and wonderfully made. These thoughts are just there to prevent you from fulfilling everything God has in store for you; don't let them win.
